Small guide of B1 tank tatics

Hi! here i will put some of my personal tatics when i use the B1 french tank in the World of Tanks game.

This is the B1, a misurderstood french heavy tank, it have a good armor, a good mobility with the last engines (with the first engine he is like a static bunker) and a good rate of fire, but, his gun lacks power, the last gun, the one seen in the screenshot B1 (my B1), the 47mm SA 37, it have, with the standard shot a penetration of  66 mm and a damage of 55 hp, the penetration is ok with his tier and lower tier tanks, but, with tier 5 tanks it is lacking, you can damage a M4 sometimes but, even if you penetrate, it´s damage is low, so you need to put a lot of shot´s in the target to destroy it, and it is a problem, because, even that he have a good armor for a tier IV combat, for Tier V combat it is weak and most medium tank guns will penetrate your armor.
But we can find ways to have best use of this tank, depeding on the match.
First, about the armor, his armor is 60mm front, 60mm side and 55 mm rear, so, as you see, it´s armor is even distributed, a rare thing in tanks, so, think with me, what is the best position to receive fire? angled side! you put your side plate in angle relative to the enemy who is firing at you, trying to not expose your front, because, you see this big dummy gun (sadly the game dont let we use it) is a weak spot, and so it is a easy place of being penetrated, so, with the angling, you armor will act like it has bigger width, and maybe bounce of some shots, so never face the enemy frontally, always side.
But in a battle with tier V, KV-1 and so, keep away from then, stick with some real gunned heavy or act as rear guard, attack arty, you know, but not face kv-1, T1 Heavy, Churchill and so, their armor are too big to you penetrate it with your 47 mm gun.
And if you remember, i said that the B1 is mobile, and it´s true with the good last engine, making it a fairly good light tank, SPG and TD hunter, if you manuever fast towards then, showing side and shooting, you can kill a hetzer fast, i did it a lot of times and is quite easy because you can  circle the hetzer faster than it turns on you.
The Turret armor is weaker than the hull armor, with a 46 mm all-around armor, so dont matter if you are facing the enemy or he shoots the back, only that the front is more sloped, making it a little stronger.
And never ever try to be a spearhead in a tier V battle, but in a Tier IV you must do it, because you can withstand the fire of the enemy if you know how to use your armor and, making you a main target so the enemy shoot you and not your allies who can kill then with you.
And beware the artillery, you are a big monster in field, a juicy target for then, so, keep moving and seeking cover, the arty can kill you fast if you dont pay attention.
So i end here this small guide, the B1 is a good tank if you are not a reckless charger, and know how to use it´s potentials, and if you train and use it well, you can do things like i did in my last battle, as seen below!

World of Tanks SPG Guide - Part 2

Equipping Your SPG

SPG Modules
Install the Artillery Shell Rammer and Gun Laying Drive (10% increase in aiming and reloading speed) on your SPG as soon as possible. This is a very, very high priority as it speeds up your targeting and reloading time. Also install Camouflage Net although that isn’t as critical.
At higher levels (tier 6 and above), you will be able to install the Air Ventilator (5% increase to all crew skills), so choose that instead of the Camouflage Net. Also note that Russian SPGs have two gunners, and two loaders – so with the Air Ventilator adding 5% to each crew, you might just enjoy 10% increased efficiency in total loading and aiming efficiency. This however is not confirmed, but get the Air Ventilator anyway.
Don’t bother installing any other equipment module as they’re only a waste of credits.
For consumables, I like to carry the Small Repair kit and Small First Aid kit. If you’re going into a clan battle, then choose Chocolates, Extra Rations or Case of Cola as they increase all crew skills by 10 percent. These consumables cost 50 gold each, they last throughout the battle and are automatically consumed at the start of a battle.
When researching other equipment, upgrade the suspension, gun, engine and radio in that order. The suspension has to be upgraded first, or the other modules may be too heavy to mount.

World of Tanks SPG Strategy Guide Part 1

SPG (or arty for short) combat strategies are very different from tanks or tank destroyers. When used effectively and with proper support, a good SPG player can win the battle for your team.
SPGs are very powerful for their tier. Although they are slow and clumsy, but a SPG can kill a tank two tiers higher than itself with a single shot. Yes, I've one shotted a full health Panther, Tiger, Lowe, and even King Tiger in a single shot. Its really fun to watch these heavy tanks go down with a single shot. If you do very well, then prepare to be accused of cheating... I've had all kinds, from praises to hate messages!!! lol...
When I first started playing SPG, I found they were clumsy, slow to aim, and even slower to reload. They were highly inaccurate, and these made me wonder how to even get a hit in a SPG.
But once I understood the playing strategies, I found that getting multiple kills in a SPG is actually easier than in a tank or tank destroyer. As of writing this, I have won over 30 top guns and 15 confederates in a SU-26. Out of 345 battles, my winning score stands at an impressive 63%. I have seen players with as high at 75% winning ratio. I salute such good arty players who know how to capitalize on the strengths of SPG.
In this guide, I share my playing tips, strategies and experience playing as SPG.=

Basic Combat Survival Guide

Welcome to your bootcamp! These are considered basic combat tactics in World of Tanks that every player should know and use. It applies to all types of vehicles from tanks, to tank destroyers and SPG.
Use these fighting tactics and you will excel above the majority of players.

Make Use of Cover

Buildings, rocks, cliffs and dead tank hulks abound in World of Tanks. Make use of them while sniping at the enemy. Hiding behind obstacles reduces your tank profile, making it more difficult for the enemy to spot you, provides protection from enemy fire, and makes you more difficult to target. When using buildings for cover, move forward, shoot. Then retreat behind the building to reload.

Basic Cover Tactics

Make use of rocks, buildings and natural terrain for cover.
Hide behind rocks
Hide behind rocks and tank hulks where possible to make you more difficult to target.
Hide behind buildings
Take cover behind buildings.
Move forward, shoot, then retreat behind the building to reload!!!
Protection from artillery
Buildings provide excellent protection from enemy SPG.
Be aware which direction artillery is attacking from, and take cover!!!

How To Be A Lamer – A Professional Noob Guide.

Lamer's Guide

With the growing number of lamers and noobs playing World of Tanks, it has become necessary to write a guide on how to be a high ranking lamer.
Warning :- This page is rated PG13. If you’re under 13, please click on this link to be taken to a cartoon site. If you’re offended by profanity, or by lame remarks, then please click on this link to be taken away to a good cause.
If you’re still reading this, then please be warned that this page may contain profanity – in simple English, bad words. If you’re offended by it, or find it in bad taste, then please exit this page now.
Now with the formalities out of the way. And if you’re still reading this. Well then, welcome to the lamer’s guide. This page is for you – the lamers and noobs who whine about anything and everything.
You will find the top tips and strategies listed here to guide you on how to piss off your team mates, spoil the fun for everyone else, blame others, and make some people mad in the process. I also accept user submissions, so you may contribute with your own lamer comments.
Let’s get started...
Fact number one. It has changed much from the time World of Tanks was in beta mode in 2010. The players were a more matured bunch, respectful of each other and showed good sportsmanship in every battle. These days, its hard to pass even one single battle without someone whining, cursing or making stupid remarks.
If you don’t believe me, then try this test. When the battle timer is counting down – try to ask a stupid question such as “What’s the plan?”.
You will receive stupid answers like “To win”, or “Kill the enemy”, or “don’t die” to some other assortment of silly answers. Such is the mentality of players these days. Its true, “What’s the plan?” is a stupid question to an unorganized team that’s playing together for the first time. But it’s a valid question. The plan can be for mediums to take the hill. Arty to cover town, or heavies to roll down the death valley, or to split into two forces and push, etc.
These days there are just as many noobs in Tier 10 Maus as there are in tier 5 Panzer IV. So don’t think that just because he’s high tier, therefore he’s also high skilled.
Ok, enough bashing. So here’s a couple more top lamer strategies to rub it in and may you be the ultimate noob in World of Tanks.

A visit to a Brazilian Soup Kitchen

Good Night my friends, today i have gone lunch in the local "restaurante popular", or in english, people's dinner, to eat, it is cheap, 1 dollar for a complete meal, and not bad food, not very good either, but, eatable.
The one i have gone is in my town, Maringá, in the state of Paraná, it was founded some 3 years ago i think, and i have gone there lot's of times, because as i am a College student, i dont have much money.
This stabilishment is goverment owned, by the city administration, so is a city level, and we only have one, other cities here have much more, and even better ones.
For near one year i havent gone there, because of the university restaurant and because i took a taste to cooking, but, as i am in a budget, and i am quite tired of cooking too, today i have gone there to eat and save some money.
now a pic i take of the food

World of Warplanes Open Beta phase starts in July 2

Pilots!
Wargaming is pleased to announce that the company’s highly anticipated free-to-play aerial combat MMO World of Warplanes will go into open beta testing on July 2, 2013.
Dedicated to aerial combat featuring aircraft from the late 1930’s to the beginning of the Korean War, World of Warplanes pits virtual pilots against in each other intense 15 vs 15 matches, where supremacy of the skies is dictated not only by the prowess behind the trigger, but also in teamwork and tactical cooperation. With planes from the United States, the Soviet Union, Germany and Japan, players will be able to jump into the cockpits of some of the most iconic warbirds to ever grace the skies.
The open beta phase of World of Warplanes will also see the introduction of a number of new features, including in-game tactical tips to help pilots learn the ropes of aerial combat, the implementation of crews and crew skills, access to consumables and premium ammo, a brand-new tutorial, as well as two new in-game maps.
Most excitingly, at one of its stages the open beta will also see the official launch of Wargaming’s recently announced Unified Premium Account. This new type of premium account will allow players to carry over their premium account status across Wargaming’s titles. During the open beta, pilots will receive special in-game tokens which can be redeemed for Unified Premium Account status.
“All of us at Wargaming are extremely excited to launch the open beta testing phase of World of Warplanes. Closed beta was a tremendous success and we’ve implemented a great deal of player feedback into the game. We can’t wait for players to get the opportunity to experience our newly announced Unified Premium Account feature, which is going to provide a tremendous amount of value for our games."

World of Warplanes 0.4.3 Update first impressions!

Hey folks, i am back with some good news, the update 0.4.3 has come into effect, so i will post my first impressions and a shitload of screens of the game.
Before the screeshots i will talk a little about what i found. First, the controls are better, i use mouse controls and they worked very fine and tunned, the smoke from the tracing shots is reduced, making aim more easy, and we can see the plane from far now, making it more easy to see the battlefield and have a nice battlefield knowing.
The light and the reflex graphics are way better, you will see in the screenshots, and better, the FPS rate got quite higher, the game is playing more smooth and even the maps had some changes, with even ships who shoot back in one (i forgot to take a screenshot of it, i will do it soon as i remember)

So let´s go to the Screenshots.

The first screenshots are to see some of the graphical changes of the game, the better lights and reflex of the planes.

Tech Tree

Today i will say about the current Tech Tree in the World of Warplanes. you will see that it works like the World of Tanks tech tree, with same experience and so interface, so for old tankers it will be piece of cake.

This up above is the japanese tech tree, as you can see, still only a few planes, only carried based fighters, and no gold planes, as in beta testing, it is normal to have such a few planes, but soon this will be expanded to near 100 planes, as i read, this will be made for all the tech trees.
One thing i loved about this game is that it dont start with the Zero as a tierI, but starts with some interwar planes like the Type 96, this makes you immerse more in the WWII aviation history.
In this tech tree i am with the A5M, nice fighter, but fragile.

This is the German line, with more planes than the japanese one, and some heavy fighters, and some gold planes too, i am with the Ar-86 nice but quite slow plane to fight against the Bf 109 and so, it goes up to planned german jet fighters so, is long term fun here!

This is the soviet one, with attack planes (the only attack planes in the game now) and some nice fighters, honestly i dont have flow because my personal hatred of the reds, but, i will give it a try soon i can get top tier japanese planes.

The last one is the american tech tree, with some good planes, only fighters, land based and carrier based, it will be expanded in the future, i have one gold fighter, the second one, nice fighter, quite underarmed, but nice to fly and with a rear gunner who helps a lot (as rear gunners are quite overrated in this game).

So this is the tech trees, soon i will post about the modules and internal upgrades of some planes, for now, this is it, i hope you enjoy folks.

More Screeshots and some more about the World of Warplanes

Hi again, so today i played quite more fights in the WoWp and some impressions i had today.

The controls are quite hard in the start, but you can get it with the time, they are quite tiring but fine, i am using the mouse option, as the keyboard it not sensitive enought and i dont have a joystick, who must be better i think.
The mouse controls are not as "mouse joystick" as i experienced in the old warbirds freehost, under the nickname of "gunitz" are quite "point where your plane go" control, is quite nice, but i would prefer to have full control, maybe when i can get a new joystick i can do it.
As a Axis fan, i am using the german and japanese planes, my top tiers with them is the Ar-86 and the A5M, nice planes, the german a good bomber hunter and the jap a nice dogfighter, i will put some screenshots.
If you consider it is still beta testing, is a nice game, needing some tune-up, they told that soon we will have an update, so, when it comes out i will talk about it.
And the screenshots, today i will post a lot, some of the battles, some of the results, and some of the hangar, the hangar is like the same thing of the World of Tanks, with some diferences, as we have no crew to train (don´t know if it will be implemented) but the tech tree is basically the same (i will take some screens of it tomorrow), the cash and gold system is basically the same of WoT, so it is quite easy to get around for veteran tankers.
Tomorrow i come back with more impressions and screenshots, and soon about WoT too.

First Flights

Some screeshots of one of my first combats in the World of Warplanes.
My first impression of this game it is a nice MMO, not a very good flight simulator, but, with some good physics and the controls are not that hard (but the lack of a cockpit makes quite hard to aim because of the changing axis of the video) but is a nice and fun game! i hope in the future they put more planes on that.

Beta tester of World of Warplanes

Now i am a beta tester of the World of Warplanes game, a MMO combat flight simulator, you can read more about it in this page: http://worldofwarplanes.com/

when i start to fly i will start to get some screenshots and videos to post here and to talk about the game, i am a player of World of Tanks already as you can see by my last post with my Pz IV, and i say, the world of  **** something games are good!

My Panzer IV

As i play World of Tanks, this is my main tank, a full Panzer IV, and with Serbian Flags because of Remove Kebab!

And a Daily dose of awesomeness:
